He was born in 1982 in Erbaa district of Tokat, to a civil servant father and a housewife mother as their second child. Growing up with his older sister in Tokat, he completed his primary education at Tokat Gazipaşa Elementary School and his middle school education at Tokat Plevne Middle School. He completed his high school education at Samsun Private Science High School, where he also played table tennis for the school team and participated in tournaments at the provincial level, winning third place in the 1997 tournament. In 2000, he was admitted to Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 2006. After graduation, he was appointed as a general practitioner to Üzümlü Village Health Center in Erbaa district of Tokat for his mandatory service. After completing his mandatory service, he began his specialization in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Rize Education and Research Hospital in 2009, and completed his specialization at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University in 2014. Following his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery, he started working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Medicine from 2017 to 2019, during which he performed successful heart surgeries and also conducted surgeries for arterial occlusions using both open and closed methods. In 2019, after working for a year as a cardiac surgeon at Özel Lokman Hekim Akay Hospital in Ankara, he started working at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at TOBB ETÜ Hospital in 2020. At one point, he established his own private clinic where he treated varicose vein patients using non-surgical methods, and later continued his work as the responsible doctor at the Varicose Vein Treatment Center in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at TOBB ETÜ Hospital. He is married and a father of two children.
