This method offers patients a very safe and new varicose vein surgery opportunity that is performed by applying local anesthesia without general anesthesia. Patients are discharged home on foot 15 minutes after the procedure and can even continue their daily work and home life the next day. The absence of the need for general anesthesia protects the patient from this process, which is a risk factor in itself, and provides a fast and practical process for both the patient and the physician by avoiding the preoperative examinations required for anesthesia preparation. The results of this new method, which is widely applied both in our center and in many centers in Turkey and abroad, are at least as healthy as laser and radiofrequency ablation procedures.

How is this method implemented?

The patient who is indicated for varicose vein surgery lies on the procedure table without any anesthesia preparation. Then the area to be treated is washed with surgical soap and covered sterilely. Local anesthesia is applied to the entry point where the adhesive system will be applied. Then, an ultrasound is used to enter the diseased vein. The procedure is successfully completed within an average of 10 minutes. Then, the treated leg is wrapped with an elastic bandage and the procedure is completed. The patient is discharged after 15 minutes.
